Steve Wozniak: Bitcoin And Blockchain Will Achieve Full Potential In a Decade
Apple’s co-founder Steve “Woz” Wozniak has remarked favorably about cryptocurrencies and blockchain engineering in his opening address in the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2018 at Vienna, Austria.
According to a report by auf Deutsch Wednesday, May 16, Wozniak believes blockchain to be a “great idea.” He said:
“The Blockchain is the next major IT revolution that is about to happen.”
Wozniak clarified his positive outlook on blockchain from the simple fact that there are lots of helpful applications for its technology in many of regions.
The blockchain and cryptocurrencies will reach their whole potential in a short time, based on Wozniak. Apple’s co-founder quoted CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey, who had stated in March that Bitcoin will develop into the planet’s “single money.”
This isn’t the first time that Steve Wozniak has generated positive remarks about cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
Based on Wozniak, Bitcoin’s big benefit is there’s just a limited number of coins, while fiat money, such as the US dollar or euro, can just be published by banks.
However, Wozniak sold his bitcoins except as he stated in the WeAreDevelopers Seminar in Vienna, since “[he] doesn’t wish to be an investor and always watch the prices”
